Gin-uary Hobart Festival

Gin-uary was created to celebrate Tasmania’s budding gin industry. Tasmania is known for its high quality and locally made produce – and gin is no different. Tasmania is the birthplace of modern day distilling and, now in its third year, Gin-uary has become an important annual event for the Tasmanian spirits industry.
Shining a light on Tasmanian distilling, Gin-uary gives distillers, regardless of their size, the opportunity for visibility on a national scale. Ginuary is a vehicle for awareness of the abundance of Tasmanian distillers doing amazing things across the industry.
Gin-uary is also all about having fun! Learning about what makes each gin unique, sampling the wares and enjoying the experience with mates. There will be three food vendors at the event as well as the Gin-uary bar slinging cocktails and Gin-uary G&T’s.
For those who are tagging along and may not like gin (shhhh, we won’t tell anyone) we’ve got you covered with the Ninth Island Vino Van which will be pouring sparkling and Tassie beer. We have exciting new experiences included in the ticket. Several distilleries will be showing you the magic behind the gin distillation process as well as a Fever-Tree masterclass.
